Your day begins with a hotel pick-up from your accommodation in Cairo or Giza, where you will be driven in comfort to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Upon arrival, your expert Egyptologist guide will take you through the Grand Hall, where you will be introduced to the scale and grandeur of the museum. This space is a taste of what is to come when the museum fully opens. You will also explore the commercial area and the exterior gardens, which offer stunning views of the Giza Plateau and the nearby pyramids.

Although the full museum galleries and collections are still under preparation for their official opening, the GEM preview tour allows you to see the museum’s monumental design, the vast collection that will eventually be displayed, and learn about the ongoing work to bring these treasures to the public. The museum will eventually display artifacts from the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, and New Kingdom, alongside spectacular pieces of ancient Egyptian jewelry, statues, mummies, and hieroglyphic inscriptions.

Throughout the tour, your guide will provide in-depth information about the Giza 2030 master plan, the cultural significance of the museum, and the ancient Egyptian civilization. You’ll gain insight into the mysteries of the pharaohs and their extraordinary achievements that continue to captivate the world.
