Upon arrival, you will meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin your journey through ancient Egyptian history.
Your first stop will be the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in the ancient world. Explore the famous Great Hypostyle Hall, giant statues, sacred lake, towering obelisks, and impressive temples developed and expanded by generations of pharaohs over many centuries.

Continue to Luxor Temple, one of Egypt’s most remarkable ancient monuments. Built primarily by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramesses II, the temple was closely associated with the ancient Opet Festival and linked to Karnak by the famous Avenue of Sphinxes.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with a beautiful Nile view before checking into your selected hotel in Luxor.
In the evening, you may choose to attend the optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, where the fascinating history of ancient Thebes comes to life through narration, music, and lighting effects.

After completing your sightseeing, return to your selected hotel in Luxor to relax and enjoy some free time. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 2: Luxor to Sahl Hasheesh
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin exploring Luxor’s famous West Bank.
Visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. Explore beautifully decorated royal tombs filled with colorful hieroglyphics and scenes depicting ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife.

Admire its elegant terraces, colonnades, and detailed reliefs while learning about Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most prominent female rulers.

Next, visit the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of Amenhotep III that once stood in front of his vast mortuary temple.
Enjoy lunch at a Nile-view restaurant before beginning your private drive back to Sahl Hasheesh.
