Start your second day early with a morning flight from Cairo to Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the East Bank of Luxor, home to some of Egypt’s most important and awe-inspiring temples.
Your first stop is the incredible Karnak Temple, one of the largest and most significant religious sites in Egypt. This sprawling complex was built over 2,000 years, showcasing a variety of architectural styles.
The highlight is the Hypostyle Hall, which contains 134 massive columns, some reaching 21 meters in height. Walk through the hall and discover the fascinating hieroglyphs and inscriptions that tell the stories of Egypt’s gods and pharaohs.
Next, visit Luxor Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. This temple was built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II.
